Every cover is supplied with adjustable spacers that create a ventilation gap at the rear. These spacers adjust up to 40mm, providing ample room for most cable runs, and can be fine-tuned seasonally for temperature management. If you need additional clearance for larger cable runs, we can provide extra-long spacers on request - just reach out to our team.
How is ventilation managed within the cover?
Ventilation is integral to the design of our battery covers, ensuring safe and efficient system operation. Adjustable ventilation gaps allow air to circulate naturally around the battery and inverter, preventing heat build-up while keeping the system shielded from the elements. These spacers can be modified seasonally - opened up in warmer months and reduced in winter - without affecting normal system performance.
Will using a cover void my battery warranty?
No. Our covers are non-intrusive and protect your system within warranty-compliant guidelines. They help shield from weather extremes that may otherwise affect coverage.
Does the insulation reduce the internal dimensions of the cover?
No, the insulation is built into the frame itself, so the internal dimensions of the cover are entirely unaffected.
